Overview of the Boeing Project

While being a UX Researcher & Strategist at Live Well Collaborative, I had the opportunity to co-lead a project for Boeing. This work is highly confidential, and I'm unable to showcase it or provide specific details. Below I've provided some information on the design methodologies and my involvement throughout the process.

My Project Role

Project Management: As a project co-lead with Rui Pang, we oversaw a multidisciplinary team including co-ops and master students. I serve as the main contact to communicate with faculty advisors, the project team, and our clients at Boeing.

Strategy and Research Planning: Throughout the semester, I developed comprehensive research plans for each phase of the project. I determined the appropriate research methods and strategies, encompassing research, synthesis, analysis, and co-creation activities, ensuring a structured and effective approach to meet project objectives.

Research:
During the research phase, I was responsible for determining activities that enhanced the team's effectiveness. This included trend research, aeroplane itemization, empathy exercises, and affinity mapping, ensuring a thorough and insightful research process.

Ideation:
We engaged in structured brainstorming and ideation sessions, utilizing design methods such as the Crazy 8 exercise to generate over 400 ideas. This process allowed us to effectively narrow down and refine the concepts to 26 viable options for further refinement.

Refinement:
Teams of 4-6 were formed for each concept, and we focused on refining our ideas with feedback from Boeing. This phase included creating systems, physical prototypes, 3D renderings, and wireframes to further develop and enhance our concepts.
